Duties
- Design and code from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement projects using ETL Informatica, Teradata, Hadoop, and SSIS. Participate in Scrum Agile meetings, sprint planning, and task estimation for user stories, as well as retrospectives and demo presentations at the end of each sprint. Communicate effectively with business partners to understand business needs and to gain knowledge of business processes and procedures and manage issues through resolution. Demonstrate strong understanding of MS SQL Server Integration Services and ETL data from heterogeneous source systems. Act as a subject matter expert for application developers and engineers; recommend enhancements to IT standards, methodologies, and quality assurance practices. Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes using platforms such as Teradata and SQL Server. Support value-based contracting data structures, perform schema copies, analyze system data, and conduct database health checks. Required Tools and Technologies: Informatica, SSIS, Teradata, SQL Server, SQL, Shell scripting, Azure, Jira.
Other: Full Time. Travel (60%) involved to unanticipated client locations within US.
Requirements:Master's Degree in Information Technology or Equivalent + 1 year of Experience in job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted.
